If this iPad is going to be used by both teachers and students, Lotus Notes Traveler must not be installed on the iPad. You can also check to see if the Traveler profile has been installed on the iPad by tapping the Settings app, tap General, and scroll to the bottom to Profiles. When you tap that link, you should see the profile with your name - IBM Lotus Notes Traveler.
If you see the Traveler profile, installation has been successful. Step 3: Sync iPad to Your Computer If you wish to use multiple iTunes accounts tied to different Apple IDs to add content to your iPad, you must sync your iPad with your computer before you set up iCloud. To Sync your iPad with the Computer: • Open iTunes on the computer and log in to the iTunes Store using the Apple ID tied to your work email account. • Plug the dock connector cable in to the iPad and connect the USB end of the cable to the computer. • Allow the iPad to sync with the computer. This shouldn't take long, as you don't have content on the device.
• Disconnect the iPad from the computer by clicking the arrow to the right of the device name in the left sidebar of the iTunes application. Once your device name no longer appears under 'Devices,' go ahead and unplug the iPad from the computer and disconnect the cable from the iPad.
