Gpo Software Installation The Installation Source For This Product Is Not Available
Archived from groups: microsoft.public.win2000.group_policy () I have described my situation here once before, but no one seems to be able to head me towards the right direction. I have been struggling with deploying any msi package in a GP as long as the package itself resides on a network share. Even though I gave 'full control' to the computer account and the 'everyone' group on the share folder where the msi package is located, when I do a rsop.msc, I still get an error message that says: 'The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.' Please note that if the msi package was located on the same computer as the one that's trying to do the installation, everything would work perfectly.

I created a GPO to deploy a MSI to PCs on our network. It ran until a couple days ago and now i receive this error:Failed to apply changes to software insta.
