This is an imagemagick solution so go get imagemagick from when it asks make sure it puts itself in the 'path'. Rather than use the 'convert' command, 'mogrify' will keep the file name. You have to be very careful with mogrify as it can and will overwrite your source files, however in this case no such worry.

The general command for conversion is mogrify -convert In windows you can use a command line which will recurse sub-folders. For /r%x in (*.wmf) do mogrify -convert png '%x' A few screen shots to help you on your way. Not perfect but a start. Best of luck -- rich.

From the Filters menu in the main Gimp window (or Xtns in earlier versions), select Batch Process. To bring up the DBP window. The top section lets you set up the processing steps; the bottom section starts and stops the processing, and shows its progress. Note that some of the controls are inactive; DBP disables controls. Hello, I'm trying to install my first plug-in in GIMP and it's not going all to well. I followed the instructions from the site of dbp and the first error was libgimp-2. Strategic Management Notes For Mba 3rd Sem Pdf more. 0-0.dll was missing next was libgimpbase-2.0-0.dll >libglib.dll >iconv.dll >libintl-1.dll >intl.dll >libgimpcolor-2.0-0.dll and after every new dll file unzipped and put in the system32 folder I tried to run dbp.exe but every time a new error occured. Now I got: can't find gimp_enum_get_value in libglib-2.0-0.dll Installing a plugin shouldn't be this difficult right? I'm using windows xp 32bit and the latest version of GIMP.

I hope someone can help me because this plug-in saves me hours of work! THNX en grtz from Merijn. Not difficult to install DBP, it is only one file, but it does download as a zip file so you need to unpack it. I suggest this because of standard winxp 'less-than-wonderfull' tools. Run Windows Explorer twice to open 2 windows Find the zip file in one window and your local gimp plugins folder in the other.

Click on the zip file to open it. Might open in the same window or another, depending on how explorer is set up. Hold your CTRL key down, click on dbp.exe and drag into the plugins folder. A screenshot here, ended up with lines all over the place but it is the above process + where to find dbp in the Gimp menu. I did a how-to some time back, not the best I have ever done, too long but it covers usage.
