I've been using it for my PS2 library for some time now. There's definitely issues here and there but overall it's pretty awesome and makes it really hard to go back to playing directly from a PS2!

PCSX2: overclock my what - Welcome to PS2 Emulation. I don't have libusb installed, I use motion-poo poo for my dualshock 3 controller so you don't need libusb. Also, did you manage to unzip. It takes a whole minute to do unless you're playing 200 PS2 games at once, all using savestates.

I've just been using a 360 controller but I should figure out the driver thing so I can use my DS3 like a true Sony Warrior would. What software do you use to get your 360 pad working? I've got a number of games I'd like to play again, but since my PS2 died a number of years ago, they've just been boxed up.

Sorry I should've noted that I use the wired 360 controller! That one makes life a lot easier from what I understand. Also for system specs I have: AMD Phenom II 555 OC'd to 3.8 ghz 4 GB Ram Nvidia GTX 460 Everything I've tried runs pretty good aside from notoriously slow games like ZoE 2.

Also AFAIK if you want to upgrade your processor for PS2 emulation I don't think the emulator takes advantage of more than 2 cores so keep that in mind. Get the fastest/cheapest dual core you can and you'll be sitting pretty.

My processor can be had for $80-89. I've been using it for my PS2 library for some time now. Lilypad, the default controller plugin, works very well for both the wired and wireless 360 controller. I wish FF Tactics: War of the Lions was ported to PS2, so that I could then emulate it on 1080p and use R2 as a fast forward button. That was the one weakness I found with the PSP version, and it's weird that Japanese developers even now still have unskippable sequences. The Disgaea series is cool for quick combat, though. I have Ico and SotC, but I'm gonna wait for the HD pack and play on the PS3 instead of messing with this.

Otherwise I've been emulating old PS2 games at high res and was satisfied in the past. Nothing screaming at me right now to get me to reinstall everything. A thread from October where I posted my complete config, which works for most of the (known working) stuff I've thrown at it.

My rig is an AMD Phenom II 3.0Ghz and ATI 5770 so YMMV (Intel users would want to use a different GS plugin for extended SSE for example). As noted elsewhere, you probably have to run the program in admin mode to get it to save your settings. If you're using a 360 pad, you might have to use an XInput emulator because I think PCSX is looking for DirectInput devices. Thanks Junon - running it in Admin mode is what got.9.7 running without any sound. After rebooting my computer the sound is running and I am finally going to be able to run through some older PS2 games (like FF12) that I never got around to! I'm running on an AMD X2 245 (2.9Ghz dual core) and a 4770 and everything is working very well.

Only got a little while to test it out but I am very happy with the speed and also the graphics boost - PS2 games have never looked better. I'm using an unofficial PS3 USB wired controller I got from ebay for around $10 and it works very well in.9.7. It takes some time investment to get PCXS2 setup the proper way. I'm running the latest version of 0.9.7 and with the proper combination of speedhacks, plugins and settings I can run FFXII well enough to be quite playable for the most part. This is on a laptop with a 2.66ghz C2D processor and a GeForce 260M GPU. Though truth be told the GPU matters little.

Ptc Mathcad Prime 3 0 Keygen Idm. A hefty dual core CPU is what you really really need. Using this same setup, I managed to play through all of FFX again. For my controller I purchased a USB adapter for a Wii Classic Controller Pro and use that. It works extremely well. Also given the low price point of these controllers and the relatively high availability, purchasing a replacement is never a major ordeal.

Not that I've had to, but in case the controller finds itself flying through the air one day. Fantasia Disney 1940 Ita Download. Better safe that sorry Anyway PCXS2 is quite impressive. Every version brings noticeable improvement. Since I no longer have a PS2 (I gave mine to my cousin when his died), but still have a huge cache of PS2 games, it is convenient to be able make use of those games. Also being able to just rip a PS2 game into an ISO (for which I recommend either imgburn for free or Alcohol 120 for pay) and be able to tote around a library of them on my laptop is just fucking awesome.

The process was somewhat complicated, but now that I know wtf I'm doing it wouldn't be bad if I had to do it again. You need a way to copy data from your memory card to a usb stick, which means you need a haxxed ps2 or a cheat disk (ie Codebreaker). You copy the saves onto a usb disc, then onto your computer. If you used a cheat thingy, the saves will be in a retardo packaged format, so you'll need to use Ps2 Save Builder to extract the save files, which you then put in folders named with the id(shown in ps2 save builder) of the save. If you didn't use a cheat thingy then you are a cool dude and all this work is already done. The difficult part is getting the saves onto a pcsx2 virtual memory card.

Since there are no usb plugins for pcsx2, you have to use the cd drive. So put the save folders into an iso (or burn them to a disk if you're stupid), then mount the iso, and tell pcsx2's cdrom plugin to look at that drive. Get a booter (or use the one you have on your haxxored ps2), and run it from File->Run Elf.

If the elf loads but the graphics are broken, then fiddle with your gpu plugin settings and try again. Now copy the files from the cdrom to the memory card.

Now treat yourself to a celebratory plate of bacon, cause you're done! I followed a guide (which anyone could find with about 2 seconds of googling), but many of the steps were unecessary and it was written in 2007, for a much older version of pcsx2. Is there anyone here that plays beatmania games with the official konami 7-key controller? I have the original and haven't been able to get that working with the emulator.

Can someone PM me or something to help? I just tried it, and everything worked for me. I'm using a psx-usb adapter.

I set up the controls on a normal ps2 controller, then plugged in the official Konami 7-key IIDX controller. The game gave me a warning that I wasn't using the right type of controller, but all the controls worked. Presumably this will work with any psx device. Just set up the controls with a regular ps2 controller, and then you don't have to worry about figuring out the mapping. Unfortunately the level of lag makes Beatmania frustrating to play.

So unless you can figure out how to fix that, I don't recommend playing it on PCSX2. Been having a lot of fun with Final Fantasy XII.

Funny how I ignored a good game so long because I didn't wanna cope with bad graphics. I'm kinda glad I did now, because it looks very good and I'm glad I get to do my first playthrough with modern graphics. Yet, I play through SNES games like Final Fantasy IV and VI almost yearly.

I guess 2D aged better than pre-FSAA 3D. I'm gonna swing by the Gamestop to see if I can find Dragon Quest 8, otherwise I'll have to order it online. Hopefully it wont be too cute/silly for my tastes. Final Fantasy XII has been the only one I've been able to stomach since Final Fantasy VII.
